Thomas Schrott, played extensively in Italy for the most important concert societies such as: Teatro alla Scala di Milano, the Theaters of Bologna, Mantova, Genova, Torino and Rome, the Festivals of Ravello, Portogruaro and Mittelfest. Furthermore, he has performed concerts at the London Barbican and Royal Albert Hall and the Berlin Philharmonic (small hall) in North and South America, Japan, South Africa, India, Bahrain, Mauritius, Turkey, Montenegro, Cuba and Uzbekistan.

As a soloist, he performed with the Moldova Symphony Orchestra (Beethoven Concerto), Orchestra della Sagra Musicale Umbra (cond. Thomas Briccetti), Festival Strings Lucerne (cond. Rudolf Baumgartner), Bombay Chamber Orchestra (cond. Wolfgang Harrer, Vienna).

Daniel Bosshard studied with Hans Andreae at the Zurich Conservatory as well as with Rolf Mäser (piano) and Robert Suter (composition) at the Music Academy of Basel. Besides teaching piano at the teacher’s training faculty of the University of Zurich he was for 10 years member (harpsichord) and soloist of the “Festival Strings Lucerne” (conductor: Rudolf Baumgartner). As a pianist and harpsichordist he has toured in Switzerland, Germany, France, Finland, Italy, Austria, Japan and South Africa. With violonist Thomas Schrott he has played several times in India and Bahrain."

About the artist:

A harmonium player, composer and researcher, Chaitanya Kunte has been receiving intensive training in harmonium from Dr. Arawind Thatte and in vocal music from Mohanrao Karve.

He is a graded artiste with All India Radio and has provided harmonium accompaniment with notable vocalists for commercial recordings and concerts.

Drawing inspiration from traditional compositions and from the work of more contemporary composers of Hindustani vocal music, Kunte has also experimented with composing in a wide variety of forms like khayal, tappa, tarana, chatarang, sadra, sargam-geet, thumri, dadra, and bhajan. He has explored raags and taals that are not commonly heard and has also composed thumris in Marathi. Kunte presents thematic concerts featuring his compositions.

Chaitanya Kunte has received a fellowship for his research pertaining to tappa, from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. He is currently appointed as visiting lecturer at Lalit Kala Kendra (Centre for Performing Arts), Pune University. Apart from his research in music, Kunte also has Master’s degrees in Indology and History and an M. Phil. degree in Archaeology.

About the artist

A well-known Kathak dancer of the new generation, Rajendra Gangani is the son and desiciple of the renowned Kathak Guru Kundanlal Gangani. He excels in Nritta and his art displays the distinctive features of the Jaipur school of Kathak. He has performed in major festivals in India and abroad including the Festival of India in USSR, the Kathak Mahotsava in Delhi, and the Konark Festival in Orissa. Apart from his solo performances, he has also made a mark with his choreographic works for his students at Kathak Kendra, Delhi.

About the artist: Saniya (Kulkarni ) Patankar was initiated into Hindustani classical music by Smt. Lilatai Gharpure at her tender age of 6. Little Saniya was born into a musical family in 1978. Her talent was discovered at the age of 3. Her parents decided to nurture and groom her talent. Today she is a leading disciple of Dr. Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande, famous singer of the Jaipur-Atrauli Gharana. She has also acquired a Masters Degree in Commerce, Company Secretary (Inter) and 'Sangeet Visharad' with distinction
Besides being a regular artist of Akashwani, All India Radio, she has travelled extensively all over India and have performed in all the prestigious conferences and music circles and received acclaim.

Karajan conducted the Berlin Philharmonic for thirty-five years. He is the top-selling classical music recording artist of all time, estimated at 200 million records sold.

About the artist:
Vijay Sardeshmukh, a disciple of Kumar Gandharva, displays the same meditative quality. Born to Shri Vitthalrao Sardeshmukh, an accomplished harmonium-player who accompanied the maestros of different Gharanas, Vijay imbibed the nuances of music at an early age. The use of two perfectly tuned tanpuras enables him to produce the exact Shruti or note required by a particular Raga.

About the artists:

Ulhas Kashalkar, one of the prime representatives
of Gwalior and Jaipur Gharanas, has earned wide recognition
in India and abroad. He was initiated to music by his father Shri
N.D.Kashalkar an able musicologist. A gold medalist at his
post-graduation in music, he was later on trained by Pandit Ram Marathe and Pandit Gajananbua Joshi, stalwarts of Hindustani Classical Music.

Gifted with a melodious voice, with superb flexibility, Kashalkar's music appeals to every music lover. His gaykee is especially noted for pure traditional rendering with his own asthetic interpretation. Renowned cassette companies of India andabroad have brought out many cassettes and compact discs of his music, a testimonial to his immense popularity. He has performed extensively in India and abroad.

About the artist:

Yogesh Samsi
A well-known tabla player of the younger generation, equally at ease with solo performances and while accompanying vocal, instrumental and dance recitals, Yogesh Samsi had an early exposure to music. His father the eminent vocalist Dinkar Kaikini initiated Yogesh at the age of six. His mother Shashikala Kaikini, a vocalist, was also a source of inspiration. Yogesh took his early instruction in tabla under the respected teacher H.Taranath Rao for a period of three years. He was later under the tutelage of the tabla maestro Alla Rakha from the age of ten.

Yogesh Samsi has made a mark for himself as a grade A broadcaster on Indian radio and television networks. A popular performer at most concerts in India and abroad, Yogesh has also conducted tabla workshops. He has been featured on commercial recordings and has also provided research inputs and demonstration for an instructional CD ROM on tabla.
