Maharashtra Cultural Centre presents Sudarshan Music Festival 2009.
This year we are presenting three theme based concerts on traditional & contemporary Bandish-s.
Friday, 11th Dec:
Ravindra Parchure (Singapore) will present “Rasa-Daas” – a concert of Bandish-s composed by Agra Gharana maestro Pt. Arun Kashalkar.
Accompanists – Chinmay Kolhatkar & Milind Pote
Saturday, 12th Dec:
Pritam Bhattacharji (Atlanta, USA), a disciple of Pt. Jasraj, will sing his own Bandish-s in ‘Bandish Bahar’.
(Accompanists – Chaitanya Kunte & Charudatta Phadke).
Sunday, 13 Dec:
Anuradha Garud (Pune) and disciples will present “Tarana Tattwa”, a concert describing origin, varieties and nuances of Tarana.
This festival will be held at 6.30pm every day at Sudarshan Rangamanch, Pune. Tickets will be available 1 hr before the concert.
