Vasantotsav 2016





Vasantotsav 2016 will be a 'Free Entry' event - as a gesture of expressing gratefulness towards society.
At the press conference a short while ago, the chief architect for the musical event, Rahul Deshpande mentioned "Since inception, Vasantotsav has received tremendous love and support from the connoisseurs of music in the city. To express our gratitude towards the society of music lovers who have made Vasantotsav one of the most sought after music events in the state, this year we have decided to organize Vasantotsav without any cost for the tickets. It is our way of acknowledging our patrons' support and what could be a better occasion - for the 100th stage show of the most acclaimed musical play ‘Katyar Kaljat Ghusali’ to make this gesture and the ‘Vasantotsav’ a special and memorable one".
The event this year will be held at the Ramanbaug Prashala from 15 January to 17 January.
Patrons are requested to note the information for the free passes. The passes are mainly for two categories, chair seating and Indian seating.We urge every patron to note that every person will be given two passes on a first come first serve basis. Kindly note that entry to the musical event will only be possible with an authorized pass.
The free pass(es) will be made available from tomorrow, 5th January. They will be available between 10 am to 2 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm, at the Balgandharva Rangmandir and Pandit Farms located in Karve Nagar.
Do get your pass and we then look forward to see you at the event, to enjoy Vasantotsav 2016 together!
