आपल्या कर्णमधुर आणि भावपूर्ण गीतांनी मराठी रसिकांना सहा दशकांहून अधिक काळ मोहिनी घालणारे संगीतकार श्रीनिवास खळे यांचे आज (शुक्रवार) वृद्धापकाळाने निधन झाले. ते ८५ वर्षांचे होते.
भावगीत, अभंग, बालगीते, पोवाडा यांच्यासह संगीताच्या अनेक क्षेत्रांमध्ये स्वत:चा खळे यांनी ठसा उमटविला होता. खळे यांच्या संगीत क्षेत्रातील योगदानाबद्दल त्यांना भारत सरकारचा मानाचा ‘ पद्मभूषण ’पुरस्कारासह ‘ संगीतरत्न ’ पुरस्कार, ‘लता मंगेशकर ’ पुरस्कार आणि जीवनगौरव पुरस्काराने सन्मानित करण्यात आले होते.

Hi You havent mentioned anything about the ongoing PuneFest, also there is a concert by Kalapini Komkaliji this Sept 18. it would be good if you could announce any such events at this blog. I am assuming that events announcements are part of the scope of this blog since it says all about music in pune. thanks
