A lec-dem explaining the genre of Tappa, its stylistic nuances, gharanas, influence of Tappa on others forms of music, supported with the audio clips of maestros such as Sidhheshwari Devi, Rasoolan Bai, Girija Devi, Mushtaq Hussain Khan, Krishnarao Shankar Pandit, Kumar Gandharva, Sharachandra Arolkar, Balasaheb Puchhawale, Malini Rajurkar, Dr Arawind Thatte and many. In addition to this, there will be rendering of some rare compositions of TapKhayal, TapThumari, TapHori, TapTarana that Chaitanya has collected, reconstructed during his research.
