वसंतोत्सव विमर्श: पं. शौनक अभिषेकी यांची ‘पंडित जितेंद्र अभिषेकी यांच्या बंदिशी’ या विषयावर कार्यशाळा

 

वसंतराव देशपांडे प्रतिष्ठान तर्फे गेली चार वर्षे ‘वसंतोत्सव विमर्श’ आयोजित करण्यात येतो. यंदा या उपक्रमात विख्यात गायक पं. शौनक अभिषेकी यांची ‘पंडित जितेंद्र अभिषेकी यांच्या बंदिशी’ या विषयावर विशेष कार्यशाळा होणार असून ते विद्यार्थ्यांस प्रत्यक्ष मार्गदर्शन करणार आहेत. या कार्यशाळेत होईल.
गुरुवार, दि. १७ जानेवारी २०१९ रोजी सकाळी ११ ते १ आणि दुपारी ३ ते ५ अशा दोन सत्रांत ही कार्यशाळा ज्योत्स्ना भोळे सभागृह, हिराबाग येथे होईल. सर्व विद्यार्थी, कलाकार व रसिकांस मुक्त प्रवेश आहे. 


Vasantrao Deshpande Pratishthan has been organizing an activity called as ‘Vasantotsav Vimarsh’ for last four years. In the fifth year, renowned vocalist Pandit Shounak Abhisheki is featured in Vasantotsav Vimarsh.
Pandit Shounak Abhisheki is going to deliver a special workshop on ‘Bandishes composed by Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki’ in two sessions, i.e. morning session (11 am to 1 pm) and an afternoon session (3 pm to 5 pm).
This workshop under ‘Vasantotsav Vimarsh’ will take place on Thursday, 17th Jan 2019 at Jyotsna Bhole Sabhagruha, Hirabaug, Pune. Entry is free to all musicians, students and connoisseurs

Vasantotsav 2016

Vasantotsav 2016 will be a 'Free Entry' event - as a gesture of expressing gratefulness towards society.
At the press conference a short while ago, the chief architect for the musical event, Rahul Deshpande mentioned "Since inception, Vasantotsav has received tremendous love and support from the connoisseurs of music in the city. To express our gratitude towards the society of music lovers who have made Vasantotsav one of the most sought after music events in the state, this year we have decided to organize Vasantotsav without any cost for the tickets. It is our way of acknowledging our patrons' support and what could be a better occasion - for the 100th stage show of the most acclaimed musical play ‘Katyar Kaljat Ghusali’ to make this gesture and the ‘Vasantotsav’ a special and memorable one".
The event this year will be held at the Ramanbaug Prashala from 15 January to 17 January.
Patrons are requested to note the information for the free passes. The passes are mainly for two categories, chair seating and Indian seating.We urge every patron to note that every person will be given two passes on a first come first serve basis. Kindly note that entry to the musical event will only be possible with an authorized pass.
The free pass(es) will be made available from tomorrow, 5th January. They will be available between 10 am to 2 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm, at the Balgandharva Rangmandir and Pandit Farms located in Karve Nagar.

पुणे - छत्तीसगडमधील 'पांडवनी' कलेच्या वारसदार तीजनबाई यांचे महाभारतावर आधारित कथानाट्य... कौशिकी चक्रवर्ती यांचे गायन... सतारवादक निलाद्री कुमार आणि तबलावादक पं. अनिंदो चटर्जी यांचे सादरीकरण हे यंदाच्या "वसंतोत्सव' संगीत महोत्सवाचे वैशिष्ट्य असणार आहे. हा महोत्सव 17 ते 19 जानेवारीदरम्यान न्यू इंग्लिश स्कूल, रमणबाग मैदान येथे आयोजिला आहे. यात कथक नृत्यांगना रोशन दाते आणि संगीततज्ज्ञ दीपकराजा यांना "वसंतराव देशपांडे स्मृती सन्मान' प्रदान करण्यात येणार आहे. "सकाळ' या कार्यक्रमाचा सहयोगी प्रायोजक आहे. 


 
प्रख्यात गायक डॉ. वसंतराव देशपांडे यांच्या स्मृतिदिनानिमित्त डॉ. वसंतराव देशपांडे प्रतिष्ठानतर्फे आयोजित हा महोत्सव सायंकाळी 6 ते रात्री 10 या वेळात होईल. संगीतातील विविध प्रवाहांचा मिलाफ रसिकांना या निमित्ताने अनुभवता येणार आहे, अशी माहिती डॉ. देशपांडे यांचे नातू आणि गायक राहुल देशपांडे यांनी पत्रकार परिषदेत दिली. सन्मानचिन्ह आणि 51 हजार रुपये रोख, असे सन्मानाचे स्वरूप आहे. त्याचप्रमाणे महोत्सवात युवा शास्त्रीय गायक लतेश पिंपळखरे यांना "वसंतराव देशपांडे उदयोन्मुख कलाकार' म्हणून गौरविण्यात येईल. 

महोत्सवात पहिल्या दिवशी (ता. 17) तीजनबाई या संगीताच्या साथीने महाभारतातील कथानाट्य सादर करतील. त्यानंतर राहुल देशपांडे यांचे गायन होईल. 

दुसऱ्या दिवशी (ता. 18) कौशिकी चक्रवर्ती आणि तबलावादक विजय घाटे यांच्या कलेचे सादरीकरण होणार असून, सतारवादक निलाद्री कुमार आणि तबलावादक पं. अनिंदो चटर्जी रसिकांना मंत्रमुग्ध करतील. 

'वसंतोत्सवा'च्या शेवटच्या दिवशी (ता. 19) ग्रॅमी पुरस्कार विजेते विक्‍कू विनायक यांचे सादरीकरण हे महोत्सवाचे वैशिष्ट्य ठरणार आहे. घटमच्या साह्याने ते कर्नाटकी संगीतातील विविध पैलू उलगडणार आहेत. अभिजित पोहनकर, स्वप्नील बांदोडकर आणि राहुल देशपांडे या तीन युवा कलाकारांच्या उत्कंठावर्धक अदाकारीने महोत्सवाची सांगता होणार आहे.

Vasantosav 2010

Update: Due to intermittent rains, Vasantotsav 2010, to be held on 19th, 20th, and 21st November has been postponed. New Dates would be declared soon...

Stalwarts like Pandit Jasraj, Mukul Shivputra, Pandit Vishwamohan Bhatt and Hariharan will feature in the fifth edition of Vasantotsav,' the annual music festival to be held in the city between November 19 and 21. The festival is organised by city-based Vasantrao Deshpande Pratishthan. The fest will take place at the New English School, Ramanbaug, from 5:30 pm to 10 pm everyday.

Addressing a news conference here on Monday, Rahul Deshpande, noted classical singer and grandson of late Vasantrao Deshpande said that Vasantotsav' will continue its tradition of presenting different formats of music to Puneites. It will have a blend of classical, fusion, folk and gazals this year.
